Supply options

Raw panels and melamine-faced panels

Start with the substrate construction, then confirm whether the order requires a raw board or a finished decorative surface.

Raw / plain panel

Particle Board

Confirm the substrate itself and the requirements that affect its application.

How particle board behaves

Compare the particle structure and component requirements

Particle board uses graded wood particles pressed into a density profile. It is widely used as a cost-efficient furniture substrate, especially with melamine surfaces, but edge fastening, internal bond and moisture exposure need to match the component design.

Panel structure

Review face and core particle distribution, density profile, internal bond expectation and finished thickness rather than comparing density alone.

Furniture processing

Provide drilling positions, connector type, edge-banding route and expected assembly cycles when edge screw holding or cam fittings are important.

Inspection focus

Check thickness, density or sheet weight, surface condition, edge integrity, moisture, swelling requirement and the agreed emissions class.

Where it fits

Commonly selected for flat furniture, cabinet carcasses, office furniture and melamine faced components with controlled machining.

Before substituting

MDF can provide cleaner profiled edges, while plywood may suit higher strength or moisture demands. Compare the finished component, not only the sheet price.

Selection points

Make the requirement measurable

Replace broad terms such as “high quality” with construction details, approved references, named standards and agreed acceptance points.

01

Density profile

Confirm the value or performance requirement relevant to the component.

02

Screw holding needs

Share the intended fixing and component design when it affects selection.

03

Surface and edges

Define acceptable surface condition and edge damage criteria.

04

Moisture option

Match the grade to the actual service condition.

05

Emission requirement

Confirm the named standard and required evidence.

06

Packing and marks

Agree protection, bundle quantity and identification.

Order follow-up

Keep the finished panel tied to the specification

The applicable checks depend on the product, order and documents agreed before production.

01

Record the requirement

Confirm the construction, surface, dimensions, application, packing and document scope.

02

Follow the order

Connect relevant production details and approved changes to the written specification.

03

Review and prepare

Check the agreed finished-panel points before packing and export preparation.

Start with the details you have

Discuss your particle board requirement

A product name, application or reference image is enough to begin. The remaining specification can be confirmed during the enquiry.
